Cafe Palms

Went for breakfast a 5 minute walk from our motel. Hot banana and bacon, pancakes with maple sauce, followed by a flat white coffee. No waiting. Quick service and a good price. Lovely start to the day.

Café Palms is an absolute hidden treasure in Kāpiti. They’re the perfect example of a good old school local cafe. No flashy names, no over-the-top decor. Just great food, great coffee, and even better people. They do the basics, and they do them well, every time, and at fair prices. It’s a family-run spot with the friendliest smiles. Every morning as I walk past to the gym, they give me a wave, and when I’m on a gym challenge, they’ve gone out of their way to create keto-friendly meals just for me. They’ve even delivered my coffee and food to me while I was getting my hair done across the carpark. That’s service you don’t see anymore. In a time when local businesses are really feeling the pinch, this cafe continues to show why they’re a community favourite. The quality, price, and down-to-earth service are unmatched. Even their regulars will give you a smile and a wave. This is a 10 star cafe in a 5 star rating system.

Just good value for money i came for brekky. I can see why the cliental are there this is good value for money.

Plain simple café that we managed to find by accident. A little dated looking but clean and tidy. Food was warm and reasonably priced. It is the first big breakfast I have had in a while which came with baked beans. Recommended.

What to do on a really wet Kapiti Coast mōrena ....... go out for breakfast. Todays kai and kāwhe was enjoyed at #cafepalms Lovely Cafe situated at Kapiti Lights. A number of locals were already there, enjoying their kāwhe and light banter while reading the morning paper. Ka pai menu, plenty of seating in and out, lovely atmosphere. Service was excellent, Kai was delicious, kāwhe was ka pai and the smoothie tasty.
